Our Safety Policy
Pick up policy
Under no exception can we turn children over to anyone other than their registered parents or guardians.
When coming to pick your child up, please bring proof that you are their registered parent or guardian.
If you want to escort your child to the classroom, please register at reception beforehand.
Our school is kept locked
The school is kept locked at all times to protect against intruders. Please use the intercom to communicate with staff on the inside.
About the rooms
We follow all safety standard for using desks, chairs, and toys
To prevent accidents from happening, all our furniture has rounded edges and anything deemed to be dangerous is kept covered and out of reach.
The backs of all windows have soft materials placed on them for safety.
Every room comes equipped with viewing windows so it's easy to see inside the room.
Once a month, we have an evaction drill to prepare for situations like earthquakes, fires, or suspicious individuals.
This helps to prepare for safe evacuation in the event of a real disaster
The evacuation zone is at Nishichi-ku Center, so in the event of an emergency, please go there. Please be aware that depending on the situation, this place may change.
In the event of a location change, our office will send mails and information will be posted on our homepage.
Nishi-Ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture
We will post a notification of a school closure caused by typhoons, heavy snow, or other bad weather on our home page by 7am on the day of school. Please check the homepage.
All students have liability insurance
We absolutely never release personal information nor photos of parents nor children
Only parents of children currently enrolled at our school may use the parents' page.
Cleaning and disinfection
The school is cleaned reguarly every day (morning and evening) and disinfected to ensure a clean play environment.
We have cooling, heating, and air purifiers in all our rooms. We also have big, open terrance so children can play safely
Our floors are made of natural wood, coated with 7 layers of UV resistance, and have insulation to keep children's feet from getting cold. The floors are tough to damage, yet easy to clean, so the area always stays clean.
We don't put a futon on the floor, but rather use "nap beds".
The beds are spaced out from the floor, so they feel cool in summer and warm in winter. Also, there won't be any dust from the floors so these beds are very hygenic.
Infectous and contagious diseases
To help prevent the spreading of disease, toys in the rooms are regularly disinfected.
If your child has the flu, cold, or other contagious disease, please keep him/her from attending school until recovered. Please also obtain a letter of permission from a doctor.
We always make sure children don't use other children's towels or water bottles.
